Freycinet Aqua Taxi offers one way and return trips into Freycinet National Park. Choose either to be dropped off and walk out on one of the walking tracks, or opt for a return trip and we will collect you at the end of you walk.

 

HAZARDS BEACH HIGHLIGHTS & TRIP OPTIONS:

The perfect way to see world renowned Wineglass Bay & Hazards Beach. The Aqua Taxi drops you on Hazards Beach. It’s a short 30 minute walk across the Isthmus track to Wineglass Bay. You can also join the Hazards circuit or Peninsula circuit tracks. There is camping available at the Hazards Beach campsite.

Hazards Beach

This secluded beach is a great spot for swimming and relaxing. There is a camp site at the southern end with is a great spot for watching the sunset.

Drop off and return via Aqua Taxi. Overnight option at the Hazards Beach campsite.

Wineglass Bay

1 hour return from Hazards Beach

Overnight camping at Hazards or Wineglass Bay. Option to walk out or Taxi back from Hazards Beach.

Hazards Circuit Track  5.5 kms from Hazards Beach

Option 1:

Join this circuit track and head around Mt. Mayson to the Wineglass Bay walking tracks car-park. 5.5 kms 2-3 hours

Option 2:

Walk across the Isthmus track to Wineglass Bay and head up and over the saddle to the Wineglass Bay walking tracks car-park. 5.5kms 2-3 hours

Freycinet Peninsula Track

The Freycinet Peninsula Circuit is a popular three day walk.

COOKS BEACH HIGHLIGHTS & TRIP OPTIONS:

Is located south of Hazards Beach and is a pristine remote corner on the Peninsula. A lovely part of the Peninsula for swimming, snorkelling or overnight camping. It also has access to a number of short and long walking tracks from here. A great point for walkers to join the Freycinet Peninsula circuit track to walk this awesome trail if you don’t have 3 days to do the complete circuit.

This secluded beach is a great spot for swimming and snorkelling. There is a camp site in the dunes which also includes a small hut and water tanks.

Drop off and return via Aqua Taxi. Overnight option at the Cooks Beach campsite.

Bryans Beach 2 hour return

One of the most pristine beaches on the Peninsula Bryans Beach allows you to view the Schouten Passage and Schouten Island. A great flat walk across to Bryans Corner. Return to Cooks Beach and return to Coles Bay via Aqua Taxi.

Freycinet Peninsula Track

The Freycinet Peninsula Circuit is a popular three day walk.

Campsites for overnight walkers are situated at Wineglass Bay, Hazards, Cooks and Bryans Beaches. It’s 5-6 hours from Cooks Beach back to Wineglass Bay via Mt. Graham. SCHOUTEN ISLAND HIGHLIGHTS & TRIP OPTIONS:

Located at the southern tip of the Freycinet Peninsula Schouten Island is a fantastic spot for day trips and overnight stays. It is a unique island with interesting geology and history. It is 6 km x 7km. Great fishing surrounds the island and pristine beaches for relaxing on. It also has a great walk up Bear Hill which gives walkers a magnificent view of the entire Freycinet Peninsula.

Crocketts Beach

This secluded beach is a great spot for swimming and snorkelling. There is a camp site which also includes a small hut and water tanks.

Drop off and return via Aqua Taxi. Overnight option at the campsite.

Bear Hill 6 kms 

One of the best views of the Peninsula this walk is 2 -3 hours return. It gives you the chance to view the whole Freycinet Peninsula from a South-North view.
